Job summary

ArchEn Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation, seeks an Instrumentation Engineer to design, evaluate, and review instrumentation, automation, and FDAS systems in line with SMC guidelines and standards.

You will oversee installation, testing, and commissioning, prepare P&ID architecture and control-related documents, and perform detailed engineering design while ensuring documentation accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in instrumentation or related field is required.
• Minimum 1 year of working experience in instrumentation, automation, and FDAS systems.
• Candidates should diagnose and resolve complex issues in instrumentation and control systems.
• Familiarity with PLC, DCS, and SCADA systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design and review instrumentation, automation, and FDAS systems.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of systems.
• Prepare P&ID diagrams, ladder diagrams, and cable schedules.
• Conduct technical audits and recommend improvements.
• Perform detailed engineering design selecting instruments, sensors, and control devices.

Job Summary:

The Instrumentation Engineer designs, evaluates, and reviews instrumentation, automation, and FDAS systems in line with SMC guidelines and standards. This role ensures safe, efficient, and compliant project execution

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and review instrumentation, automation, and FDAS systems.
• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of systems.
• Preparation of P&ID system architecture, ladder diagram, and cable schedule including scope of works.
• Conduct technical assessments and audits of installed systems, recommending improvements or modifications as needed.
• Perform detailed engineering design, including selection of instruments, sensors, control systems, and automation devices.
• Ensure the accuracy of instrument and automation system documentation, including as-built drawings and technical manuals.
• Develop and review project documentation such as P&ID diagrams, IO lists, control logic specifications, and functional design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical Engineering, or any related field.
• With at least 1 year of working experience in instrumentation, automation, and FDAS systems.
• Capable of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues in instrumentation and control systems.
• Familiar with automation systems (PLC, DCS, and SCADA).
• Amenable to work on projects in various locations.
