Job summary

NUSTAR Resort is seeking a Security Control Room Associate to join the Security Department on a probationary basis. You will observe and monitor premises via CCTV, respond to suspicious activity, and log incidents accurately.

You will also manage alarms, coordinate with teams by radio, maintain access systems, and assist in emergencies. Responsibilities include administrative duties, reporting, and supporting training for new staff.

Qualifications

• English language skills (written and spoken) essential.
• Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Displays high commitment in delivering and improving customer service.

Responsibilities

• Observe and monitor persons on premises using CCTV camera system, respond to persons behaving suspiciously or unlawfully and report security breaches.
• Allocate resources and tasks by responding to telephone/radio requests, monitoring progression/completion of tasks, recording and logging of all relevant information.
• Acknowledge, respond and record all alarms within the appropriate time frame.
• Maintain Security Access System.
• Monitor and coordinate communications during emergencies.
• Maintain and monitor radios and other equipment.
• Provide assistance and information to security operations.
• Assist in the training of new Surveillance Control Room Associates.
• Perform administrative tasks including reports and compilation of statistics.
• Adhere to Health and Safety policy and promote equity and diversity in the workplace.
• Execute other duties as directed by the Control Room/Surveillance Supervisor.
