Job summary

BHP Group in Manila is seeking a Contract Specialist on a secondment/fixed-term basis to manage the full scope of commercial contracting and related governance. This role reports to the Team Lead Contracts Operations and involves accurate contract entry, reconciliation and drafting across SAP/CLM systems.

You will collaborate with Sales, Marketing and Maritime teams, ensuring timely execution and compliance with contract terms while supporting process improvements and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Understanding of global trade terms, freight, distribution, incoterms.
• Strong attention to detail and awareness of governance and risk controls.
• Excellent communication and negotiation with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Accurate and timely execution of contracting activities in SAP/CLM and drafting.
• Maintain contracts data accuracy and reconciliation.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to improve contracting processes.
• Identify and escalate governance or risk deficiencies with stakeholders.
• Provide advice on commercial terms and contract delivery.
