Job summary

Curio Group is seeking a contract Learning Designer to design and develop high quality online and blended learning experiences for higher education and corporate clients. You will work with academic staff, SMEs and internal teams to deliver engaging learning from concept through production.

The role requires hands-on instructional design, proficiency with tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, H5P or Canva, and experience with LMS platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in the education sector.
• Experience designing human-centred learning experiences with educational technologies.
• Experience producing learning content using Articulate Storyline, Rise, H5P, or Canva.
• Experience with LMS platforms (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or others).
• Ability to plan and deliver full learning design cycles—from discovery to production.
• Strong communication and collaboration across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement engaging learning experiences for higher education and corporate projects.
• Collaborate with academic staff, SMEs and internal teams to co-design online and blended learning experiences.
• Create and manage learning assets using LMS, authoring tools, and multimedia production platforms.
• Write student-facing material to appropriate qualifications frameworks and industry standards.
• Build interactive elements (e.g. H5P, video, simulations) to boost learner engagement.
• Coordinate production workflows: storyboarding, feedback cycles, reviews, and version control.
