Job summary

CEVA A&O Mexico seeks a Continuous Improvement Management Expert for the NORTAM region to drive operational excellence across global transport and logistics services. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, analyse and standardise processes, and collaborate with clients to deliver tailored solutions that drive growth.

The role requires 5+ years in global transportation, CRM experience, and strong TMS/data analysis capabilities within a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Project management certification or knowledge in project management methodologies.
  • Over 5 years in global transportation and freight forwarding with CRM and business development experience.
  • Familiarity with freight forwarding operations including customs procedures and documentation standards.
  • Proficiency with supply chain software tools, especially Transportation Management Systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline global transportation and freight forwarding operations, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Analyze customer internal and external supply chain processes to identify opportunities for standardisation and operational enhancements aligned with CEVA's objectives.
  • Manage and support customer relationship management efforts by collaborating with clients to understand evolving business needs and offer tailored solutions.
  • Utilize Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to design solution frameworks, conduct system mappings, and develop reports informing decision-making.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders with strong leadership to foster collaboration and shared success.
  • Apply project management principles to oversee improvement projects from conception through execution within scope, time, and budget.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, data visualisations, and reports using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Visio, PowerPoint) to communicate findings across organisations.
  • Apply critical situational analysis and decision-making to address challenges and align with enterprise goals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Project management certification or knowledge in project management methodologies
Extensive experience in global transportation and freight forwarding with customer relationship management and business development
Familiarity with freight forwarding operations including customs procedures and documentation
Strong proficiency with supply chain software tools, especially Transportation Management Systems

  • Utilise supply chain software and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) to design solution frameworks, conduct system mappings, and develop comprehensive reports that inform decision-making.

  • Extensive experience (over 5 years) in global transportation and freight forwarding, with a proven track record in customer relationship management and business development.
  • In-depth familiarity with freight forwarding operations including customs procedures and documentation standards, ensuring compliance and operational accuracy.
  • Strong proficiency in supply chain software tools, particularly Transportation Management Systems, with practical skills in data analysis, reporting, and solution design.

  • Exceptional aptitude for rapidly comprehending complex supply chain environments, with the capability to adapt and expand operational capacities to meet client and company needs.
  • Broad understanding of enterprise-level business strategies, operational processes, process standardisation approaches, enabling technologies, and governance structures.
