Position Summary

This role combines investigative research with strong writing, producing well-sourced content that translates complex environmental topics into clear, engaging material for a general audience. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and verifying information, and developing content across our social and editorial channels.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct research on environmental, sustainability, and policy topics relevant to the Philippine context, drawing from primary sources including government agencies, scientific literature, and official data.
• Verify facts and claims rigorously, and flag items requiring further verification prior to publication.
• Write and edit content across multiple formats, including social media carousels, captions, and long-form features.
• Translate technical and policy material into clear, accessible language for a general readership.
• Develop captions using natural English-Tagalog code-switching appropriate for Filipino social media audiences.
• Collaborate with the editorial team throughout the content process, from initial concept to final copy, incorporating feedback across revision cycles.
