Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking a Content (Lead) Analyst - Equity Indices to ensure the accuracy, quality and timeliness of Equity Indices data in our Datastream platform. You will liaise with data suppliers, resolve client queries and support onboarding and maintenance of markets.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver timely responses, lead data updates, prepare documentation, and seek improvements to processes to uphold high data quality and service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of Power BI, AI tools, VBA and SQL is an advantage.
• Willing to work flexible shifts, including midshift and graveyard shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with various data suppliers to address missing, incorrect, or unclear data, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining strong supplier relationship.
• Deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive responses to all related to the Equity Indices data queries, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
• Complete assigned projects within set deadlines, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with business objectives.
• Prepare and accomplish Content Enhancement requests according to business priorities and supervise the ongoing maintenance of existing markets.
• Conduct follow-up training sessions to other analysts to improve team capability, knowledge retention and process consistency.
• Supervise and lead tasks, including Datastream Calculated Indices, while resolving client cases and queries effectively to maintain service quality.
• Prepare and update documentation on all market processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Seek ways to improve processes or procedures that are more efficient.

The Content (Lead) Analyst - Equity Indices role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality and timeliness of Equity Indices data on our database (Datastream).
