Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group is seeking an Content (Lead) Analyst - Equity Indices to ensure accuracy, timeliness and quality of Equity Indices data in our Datastream repository. You will coordinate with data suppliers, respond to client queries and support onboarding and maintenance of markets to uphold data quality standards.

The role requires a finance/economics background, strong communication and analytical skills, and familiarity with Power BI.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics or related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, AI tools, VBA and SQL is an advantage.
  • Willing to work flexible shifts, including midshift and graveyard shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with data suppliers to address missing, incorrect, or unclear data and ensure timely resolution.
  • Provide accurate responses to Equity Indices data queries with high service standards.
  • Complete assigned projects within deadlines with accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare Content Enhancement requests and supervise maintenance of existing markets.
  • Conduct follow-up training sessions to analysts to improve team capability and processes.

Job description

Job Description: The Content (Lead) Analyst - Equity Indices role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality and timeliness of Equity Indices data on our database (Datastream). Also handles supplier coordination, resolves client queries, and supports onboarding and maintenance of markets to uphold LSEG’s data quality standards.

Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities:
  • Liaise with various data suppliers to address missing, incorrect, or unclear data, ensuring timely resolution while maintaining strong supplier relationship.
  • Deliver accurate, timely, and comprehensive responses to all related to the Equity Indices data queries, ensuring high standards of service delivery.
  • Complete assigned projects within set deadlines, ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with business objectives.
  • Prepare and accomplish Content Enhancement requests according to business priorities and supervise the ongoing maintenance of existing markets.
  • Conduct follow-up training sessions to other analysts to improve team capability, knowledge retention and process consistency.
  • Supervise and lead tasks, including Datastream Calculated Indices, while resolving client cases and queries effectively to maintain service quality.
  • Prepare and update documentation on all market processes to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Seek ways to improve processes or procedures that are more efficient.
