Job summary

Job description

The Team leader’s core job is to manage a team of Content Analysts who updates the data from financial reports. The Team leaderassistsday-to-day management of the teams and the schedule, ensuring all updates are completed witha very highlevel of quality and a fast turnaround time. The role requires all front-line management duties for their direct reports, including holding ongoing training as needed, conducting quarterly and annual reviews,determiningannual raises and bonuses, and communicating with Human Resources and higher-level management on personnel issues. The team leader will also play a keyroleinterviewing, hiring, and trainingnew staff. Responsible for coaching,training, anddevelopstaff within their group, including providing direct feedback on performance. The Team leaderis responsible forachieving or exceeding service, productivity, and quality targets for their group.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Motivate, support, and develop staff to enhance andmaintainthe ability to adapt to the changing requirements of a continuously evolving business environment.
  • Inspire team to meet customer requirements and improve quality standards by settinghigh standards.
  • Advisetheteam of matters which affect them and their ability to perform in their job.
  • Train to ensure that there isan appropriate levelof product, customer, and systems development awareness to help understand the broad picture and make good decisions.
  • Maintain a stable operational environment and clear allocation of duties withinownteam.
  • Prioritize regular operational activities andadviseleaders of potential difficulties.
  • Use Six Sigma processes within the team to collate statistical information to help operational management of issues, improvequalityand reduce costs/waste.
  • Communicate effectively with other data personnel globally, always sharing knowledge and adopting bestpractice.
  • Championing AI adoption, monitoring utilization, and measuring business impact through productivity, quality, and efficiency gains.
  • Lead team and ensure all escalation/issues are handled appropriately and according to company policy.
  • Drive the Content Incentive Plan effectively within the team and communicate on an ongoing basis to staff around the performance of the team.
  • Communicate clearly on Pay for Performance culture and principles and the linkage to Rewards.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
  • People management experience or experience in non-direct people management activities
  • Understanding of staffing issues and concepts of human resources, finance policies and processes
  • Experience with conflict resolution and disciplinary methods
  • Enthusiasm and drive
  • Consistent track record of problem-solving skills
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills
  • Ability to manage change and challenge existing processes
