Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Consumer Lending Officer in the Philippines to join our Credit & Collections team.

You will conduct quality credit assessments, review loan applications, and ensure regulatory compliance while helping customers complete their ownership journey. You will collaborate with Sales, Sales Administration, and Consumer Finance teams, analyze financial documents, and communicate with customers to obtain required information.

Qualifications

• Experience in consumer lending, credit underwriting, banking, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency with Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Complete high-quality credit assessments for new and upgrading owners.
• Review sales contracts and supporting documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Analyze and evaluate credit applications using financial documentation, serviceability assessments, and customer history.
• Assess customer eligibility and verify income and expense information.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, and SMS to obtain required documentation and clarify details.
• Process applications and supporting information within required timeframes.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure efficient processing and positive outcomes.
• Identify potential compliance concerns and escalation issues when required.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation within internal systems.
