What IT Strategy & Governance contributes to Cardinal Health
Information Technology oversees the effective development, delivery, and operation of computing and information services. This function anticipates, plans, and delivers Information Technology solutions and strategies that enable operations and drive business value.
IT Strategy & Governance maintains multi-year strategic IT investment plans for assigned areas of the enterprise and develops business cases and internal buy-in from business leaders by aligning IT investment plans with business needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 4+ years experience in related field preferred
- Thorough working knowledge Microsoft 365 tool set, specifically Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Experience with Planview, preferred
- Financial acumen, including operational support and management level reporting.
- Basic knowledge of Project Management concepts and processes.
- Ability to drive results with limited supervision.
- Ability to drive results in highly matrixed organization.

Specific activities this position may be expected to perform:
- Set up/maintain portfolio/project artifacts in online tools (PlanView, ServiceNow, SAP)
- Monitor/manage IT portfolio related GMBs (Portfolio Management, Portfolio Operations)
- Triage/process Project Change Requests (PCRs)
- Manage operational project funding levels in SAP
- Submit Capital Allocation Requests (CARs) and supplemental requests in SAP
- Support monthly portfolio forecasting and close activities
- Intake Global Security and Facility projects
- Fulfill ad hoc portfolio/project data requests
- Support monthly Blocked Labor reporting process
- Manage Handoff meetings, offcycle handoff requests
- Support creation of monthly Portfolio leadership meeting materials (PIC, ITIC)
- Create/support annual Portfolio planning files
- Support annual Strategic Financial Planning
