Job summary

Metro Pacific Water Solutions, Inc. is seeking a highly analytical Quality Control Engineer for its Construction Operations Department - Special Projects.

You will implement project quality standards, ensure compliance with specifications, and oversee quality from planning through final handover of water and wastewater projects. The role requires a PRC-licensed engineer (Civil or Mechanical) with at least 2 years of mechanical construction experience, preferably in water/wastewater facilities.

Qualifications

• PRC licensed civil/mechanical engineer required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical construction works.
• Preferably with experience in wastewater treatment, water treatment, or industrial projects.
• Knowledge of QA/QC systems and procedures, construction quality standards, mechanical and civil codes, and HSE requirements.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Develop and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Perform inspections and quality audits on civil, structural, and mechanical works.
• Monitor compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable codes.
• Verify quality of incoming materials and equipment.
• Oversee hydrostatic leakage testing and concrete durability assessments for water-retaining structures.
• Coordinate hydro-testing and non-destructive testing (NDT) activities.
• Issue and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and drive CAPA actions.
• Prepare quality reports, inspection records, test reports, and handover documentation.
