Briobuild Co. is seeking a Purchasing Manager in the Philippines to oversee material and services procurement, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and best value for the company.

The role entails supervising PO processes, vendor management, contract negotiations, and policy compliance, with a focus on cost-saving initiatives and inventory coordination with site engineers and logistics teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
• Skills: Negotiation, Supply Chain Management, Leadership, Vendor relationships, Analytical/problem-solving, Procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily purchasing activities of the team and manage the entire Purchase Order (PO) process.
• Vendor Management: identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers; develop and maintain professional, long-term relationships with key vendors.
• Negotiation: lead contract and price negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Policy & Compliance: develop, implement, and enforce purchasing policies and procedures; ensure compliance with internal controls and ethical sourcing.
• Cost-Saving Initiatives: monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Inventory & Delivery: coordinate with Site Engineers and the Warehouse/Logistics team to ensure timely delivery of materials and optimal inventory levels.
