We are seeking a Construction Purchaser to join EZL Construction Services on a full-time basis. Based in Cebu, this role plays a crucial part in our supply chain operations, ensuring the timely procurement of materials and services required for our construction projects. As a Construction Purchaser, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing a variety of construction materials, equipment, and services that directly impact project delivery and profitability. This position is essential to maintaining our operational efficiency and supporting our project teams across all construction initiatives.
Identifying, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers and vendors for construction materials, equipment, and services
Obtaining competitive quotations and negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and payment conditions with suppliers
Placing purchase orders and managing procurement contracts in accordance with company policies and budgetary constraints
Monitoring delivery schedules and coordinating with suppliers to ensure materials arrive on time and meet quality standards
Communicating regularly with project managers and site teams to understand material requirements and project timelines
Maintaining accurate records of purchases, invoices, and supplier information in the procurement system
Resolving supply chain issues, including shortages, delays, or quality concerns, and implementing corrective actions
Conducting regular supplier performance reviews and maintaining relationships with key suppliers
Tracking inventory levels and coordinating with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize stock management
Staying informed about construction industry trends, material availability, and market pricing
1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, , preferably within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and services commonly used in building projects
Proven ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and achieve cost savings without compromising quality
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple purchase orders simultaneously
Proficiency in using procurement software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data entry, and record-keeping
Problem-solving abilities and resilience in managing supply chain disruptions
