Job summary

ILO Construction, Inc is seeking an Assistant Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities for ongoing projects in Quezon City. The role focuses on canvassing materials, preparing procurement plans, and managing supplier submittals to ensure on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree and 7+ years in purchasing within construction, with strong negotiation and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's/College Degree in Civil Engineering
• Preferably more than 7 Yrs. Experienced Employee specialized in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent. Preferably with exposure in the field of construction.
• Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel).
• Ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
• Ability to negotiate, establish, and administer contracts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Accurate and precise attention to details

Responsibilities

• Reports to Purchasing Manager/President
• Canvass materials and labor for incoming projects on bidding
• Prepares procurement plans for new project assignment
• Prepares material submittals for client's approval
• Updates daily the material monitoring report for on-going projects to ensure on time delivery of orders to avoid delay.
• Handles Naysa system for Procurement Department
• Performs other related tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
