Job summary

SCAN - BILT PTE LTD is seeking a skilled Planner to develop, maintain and control project programmes from tender through handover. You will coordinate with Project, Operations and Client teams to achieve milestones and deliver reliable progress reports.

Key duties include creating schedules with Primavera P6 and MS Project, managing baselines, monitoring progress, and supporting delay analysis and EOT submissions with clear client reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, Diploma or Nitec in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
• Minimum three to six years of planning and scheduling experience in construction or process industries.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project for project schedules and progress reports.
• Experience in civil/building/foundation or process-industry projects is preferred.
• Able to read drawings and translate scope into practical activity sequences and resources.
• Strong analytical, reporting, coordination and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
• Prepare programmes covering tender, initial concept, construction, testing, completion and handover stages.
• Build clear work breakdown structures, activity logic, milestones and critical paths for building, civil, foundation, maintenance and project works.
• Estimate the duration of major activities based on scope, quantities, methods and site constraints.
• Establish, update and control project baselines in accordance with contract and Client requirements.
• Maintain schedule revision and change-control records.
• Prepare daily manpower, plant, equipment and material deployment plans in coordination with the project team.
• Develop resource-loaded schedules and short-, medium- and long-term resource forecasts.
• Compare planned resources against actual deployment and highlight shortages or over-allocation.
• Recommend resource levelling, resequencing or recovery actions to support milestones.
• Prepare two-week, four-week and monthly look-ahead plans for site execution.
• Collect and update actual site progress against the approved baseline and current work plan.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports with schedule updates and milestone status.
• Analyse planned versus actual progress, schedule variance and critical-path movement.
• Provide early warning of delays and constraints that may affect completion.
• Prepare recovery or acceleration plans with the project team.
• Present schedule and progress updates during internal and Client meetings.
