About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to join our dynamic team in Valenzuela City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing construction projects from inception through completion. As Construction Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the key liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams, driving project success whilst maintaining a strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee all construction activities on assigned projects, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards
• Manage project budgets, monitor costs, and implement cost-control measures to prevent budget overruns
• Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards throughout all project phases
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and completion of work
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to maintain construction standards and identify potential issues early
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, schedules, and change orders
• Manage communication between clients, architects, engineers, and construction teams to ensure alignment and resolve issues promptly
• Supervise and motivate construction teams, providing direction and support to achieve project objectives
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste on construction sites
• Monitor project progress against key performance indicators and elevate risks or delays to senior management

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of hands‑on experience in construction project management within the Philippines
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, materials, building codes, and safety regulations applicable in the Philippines
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects of varying complexity and scale
• Excellent proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
• Exceptional organisational and time‑management abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of contract administration and procurement processes
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as required
• Preferred: PRC license as a Civil Engineer or Construction Manager; experience with green building practices; familiarity with Building Information Modelling (BIM)
