Job summary

Grandspan Development Corporation in Binangonan Rizal is seeking a Construction Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of major projects. You will ensure delivery on time and within budget while maintaining top-quality standards, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in senior construction roles, excellent PM and leadership skills, and a Civil Engineering/Construction Management background with licensure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

About the role

As a Construction Manager at Grandspan Development Corporation, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful delivery of large-scale construction projects in Binangonan Rizal. In this full-time position, you will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of all aspects of the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

What you’ll be doing

1. Developing comprehensive project plans and schedules, and closely monitoring progress to identify and mitigate risks

2. Coordinating and managing the activities of on-site teams, including subcontractors, to ensure efficient and effective project delivery

3. Reviewing and approving technical specifications, blueprints, and other construction documents

4. Ensuring all necessary permits, approvals, and safety protocols are in place

5. Monitoring and controlling project costs, and providing regular progress reports to key stakeholders

6. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and quality

7. Fostering a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations

What we’re looking for

1. Minimum 10 years of experience in a Construction Manager or similar senior construction role

2. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion

3. Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills

4. Strong technical knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment

5. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and contracts

6. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders

7. Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

8. Licensed Civil Engineer or Structural Engineer qualification required

9. Familiarity with local construction regulations and industry best practices

10. Demonstrated experience in project management from steel and concrete construction including both horizontal and vertical structures with expertise in steel fabrication and erection processes
