Job summary

Kareila Management Corporation (S&R Membership Shopping) is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale commercial projects from planning through closeout. You will coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring plans comply with design and regulatory standards.

The role requires 5 years in construction management, CCM/PMP certification, and experience with LEED practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 years of experience in construction management delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial or industrial construction projects.
• Professional certification in construction management (e.g., CCM, PMP).
• Familiarity with sustainable building practices and LEED certification.
• Willing to report at Paranaque office.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the work of all project participants, including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors.
• Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with design and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on project financial performance, including cost variances and potential overruns.
• Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets or exceeds specified standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
• Address and resolve any construction-related issues or disputes that arise during the project.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication between all project stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is informed and aligned with project goals.
• Provide regular updates to senior management and clients on project progress, including key milestones, risks, and issues.
• Develop and enforce a site-specific safety plan, ensuring that all workers comply with safety regulations and best practices.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
• Investigate and report on any accidents or incidents that occur on-site.
• Oversee the completion of all project punch-list items, ensuring that all work is finished to the client’s satisfaction.
• Manage the project closeout process, including final inspections, documentation, and handover to the client.
• Ensure that all necessary permits, warranties, and as-built drawings are obtained and provided to the client.
• May be assigned additional duties as directed by the Superior.
