Job summary

CHINT NEW ENERGY DEVELOPMENT PHILIPPINES INC. is seeking a Project Management & Construction Supervisor to oversee solar farm planning, scheduling, and execution in the Philippines. You will ensure adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality while coordinating with internal and external teams.

The role involves risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and regular reporting to senior management, with close collaboration across procurement, finance, and engineering to support project success.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the overall planning, scheduling, and execution of the solar farm project.
• Ensure compliance with project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
• Work closely with internal and external teams to ensure smooth project implementation.
• Monitor construction progress, identifying and resolving potential issues proactively.
• Conduct risk assessment and implement mitigation strategies.
• Act as the primary liaison between CHINT Philippines and stakeholders including NGCP, LGUs, contractors, and local communities.
• Coordinate with designing contractors to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulatory standards.
• Work with LGUs and community leaders to facilitate project approvals and site-related matters.
• Manage third-party service providers and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project goals.
• Ensure that all project activities comply with national and local regulations, including environmental and safety standards.
• Work closely with the regulatory bodies to secure necessary permits and approvals.
• Address and resolve any compliance-related issues during project execution.
• Collaborate with internal departments including procurement, marketing, finance, technical, and engineering teams to support project needs.
• Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior management.
• Maintain detailed project documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist in feasibility studies, site selection, and project due diligence.
• Support the development of technical proposals, project plans, and budget estimates.
• Work with the marketing and finance teams to evaluate project profitability and investment feasibility.
• Identify and evaluate potential challenges in the early stages of project development and propose effective solutions.
