Job summary

OPTIMAL Unlimited in Manila is seeking an experienced Estimator to translate inspection data into complete pricing proposals. This desk-based role involves developing estimates with materials, labor, scope, subcontractor costs, and margins for sales teams.

You will review inspection details, price materials using estimating software integrated with suppliers, compute labor costs and subcontractor bids, and ensure accuracy before delivering estimates to sales and operations promptly.

Qualifications

• 2 years of estimator experience in construction, remodeling, restoration, or home services.
• Familiarity with construction labor rates, wages, and material costs.
• Experience pricing subcontractors and bid comparisons.
• Experience applying margins and markups to proposals.
• Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets and email/sharing tools.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Review inspection details, notes, and photos to define a clear scope of work for each job.
• Research and apply current material pricing using estimating software with Home Depot integration.
• Determine labor costs, crew requirements, and subcontractor quotes; compare to keep estimates competitive.
• Build complete, pricing-ready estimates with materials, labor, scope, and pricing in the estimating software.
• Return finalized estimates to sales and operations within agreed turnaround times; clarify scope as needed.
• Maintain organized records of every estimate and learn new tools to improve workflows.
