Job summary

Cebu Pacific Air is seeking a Configuration Engineer in Manila to manage aircraft and component configurations, ensuring up-to-date records and compliance with maintenance directives. You will coordinate with Technical Services and other teams to maintain fleet airworthiness.

The role requires hands-on use of manuals, company systems, and data entry for new aircraft and parts. Strong communication and independent work are essential, with 2–4 years of airline industry experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical Engineering required.
• Solid writing and communication skills expected.
• Computer literacy including MS Office required.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

• Monitor component tracking and interchangeability in the system.
• Provide technical assistance to EFM group and Aircraft Records.
• Stay current with industry standards for aircraft component configuration.
• Review AD/SB implementations and enter into the system.
• Define and maintain aircraft and component trees in the system for new arrivals.
• Enter AD/SB status into the system for new arrivals and inform Technical Services.
• Create new part numbers and sub-assemblies as needed in the system.
• Prepare Aircraft configuration status reports including AD/Modification status.

Primary Responsibilities

• Monitor component tracking and interchangeability in the company’s computer system based on approved manuals and coordination with Technical Services.
• Provides technical assistance to other EFM group and Aircraft Records.
• Remains current on industry standards for aircraft component configuration.
• Monitor and review AD/SB that Technical Services intends to be embodied to the fleet, ensure properly complied and are entered into company’s computer system and report embodiment to OEM’s as applicable.
• Define, build and maintain aircraft and component tree into company’s computer system for new arrived aircraft, propeller, and landing gears.
• Perform entry of AD/SB status into approved computer system for new arrived aircraft and inform Technical Services that requires subsequent requirements.
• Perform entry of components (i.e. AIR, HT etc.) for new arrived aircraft and create new part numbers, including part number sub-assemblies, as necessary, unknown to the company’s computer system.
• Assist in providing Aircraft configuration status reports including, but not limited to, AD and Modification status.

Quali f ications

• Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical Engineer
• Solid writing, communication, and computer skills required. Computer literate, knowledge of MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and etc.).
• Ability to apply processes, methods, skills, knowledge to achieve objectives.
• Ability to work independently and self-motivated.
• Has more than four (4) years of work-related experience in the airline industry
• Must have a valid work visa or legal authorization to work in the Philippines
