Job summary

Joneco Tech Marketing Corporation in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila is seeking a Computer Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot computer hardware, software, and related IT equipment.

You will provide technical assistance to customers and support internal IT concerns, performing installations, configurations, and routine maintenance while ensuring proper documentation of repairs and service requests.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant certification in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Experience in computer repair, troubleshooting, or technical support is an advantage.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Knowledgeable in computer hardware, software, operating systems, and peripherals.
• Basic knowledge of networking and LAN troubleshooting is an advantage.
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot computer hardware and software issues.
• Perform installation, configuration, repair, and maintenance of desktop computers and laptops.
• Install and configure operating systems, drivers, applications, and other software.
• Troubleshoot printers, scanners, network devices, and other computer peripherals.
• Perform hardware upgrades, replacement, and preventive maintenance.
• Conduct computer testing and quality checks after repairs.
• Assist customers with technical concerns and provide appropriate solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation of repairs, service requests, and technical activities.
• Assist with basic network troubleshooting and connectivity issues.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and work areas are properly maintained.
• Perform other technical duties as assigned by the supervisor.
