WRN Health Incorporated is seeking a dedicated Compliance Officer - Waste Management to join our administrative and office support team in General Santos City, South Cotabato. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in ensuring our organization operates in full compliance with all waste management regulations and environmental standards. As Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring, implementing, and maintaining compliance protocols across all waste management operations, thereby protecting both our organization and the environment we serve.
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive waste management compliance policies and procedures
Monitor all waste management operations to ensure adherence to local, regional, and national regulations
Conduct regular audits and inspections of waste handling, storage, and disposal practices
Maintain detailed records and documentation of waste management activities and compliance certifications
Prepare compliance reports for internal management and external regulatory bodies
Liaise with relevant government agencies and environmental authorities on compliance matters
Identify compliance gaps and develop corrective action plans to address deficiencies
Provide training and guidance to staff on waste management compliance requirements
Stay up to date with changes in waste management legislation and regulations
Investigate non-compliance incidents and recommend preventive measures
MUST BE a graduate of any engineering course.
Proven experience in waste management compliance or environmental health and safety roles
In-depth knowledge of local, regional, and national waste management regulations and standards
Strong understanding of administrative procedures, documentation, and record-keeping practices
Excellent organizational and attention-to-detail skills
Proficiency in using administrative software and data management systems
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
Ability to work independently and manage multiple compliance tasks simultaneously
Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying compliance issues
Certificate or qualification in waste management, environmental compliance, or related field (preferred)
Experience working in healthcare or medical waste environments (advantageous)
