Job summary

MEC Networks Corporation in the Philippines is seeking a Compliance Officer to safeguard regulatory excellence by reviewing policies and monitoring compliance and governance across the organization.

You will support ISO management system requirements, audits, and collaborate with HR, management, and external advisors; on-site in Cubao, Quezon City.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in compliance, risk, governance, or management systems.
• Solid understanding of contract law principles and standard contract clauses.
• Strong analytical, risk-spotting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to translate legal jargon into clear business advice.
• High level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgment with confidential matters.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts, agreements, and internal policies to identify compliance, regulatory, and operational risks.
• Maintain the organization’s compliance and risk management framework for sustainable operations.
• Assist with ISO management system requirements, including documentation, audits, and CAPA.
• Monitor regulatory, contractual, and business compliance and report on status.
• Develop governance policies and procedures and assist implementation.
• Coordinate investigations with HR and management on compliance issues.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external advisors such as auditors or legal counsel.

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and dedicated Compliance Officer. In this role, you won't just review policies; you will safeguard the organization's integrity and empower teams to operate with confidence and regulatory excellence.

What You'll Do:

• Review & Mitigate: Review contracts, agreements, and internal policies to identify compliance, regulatory, and operational risks.

• Maintain Frameworks: Support and maintain the organization’s compliance and risk management framework to ensure sustainable operations.

• Champion ISO Standards: Assist with ISO management system requirements, including documentation, internal audits, external audits, and corrective/preventive actions.

• Monitor & Report: Monitor regulatory, contractual, and business compliance requirements and report accurately on compliance status.

• Develop Governance: Support the development, review, and implementation of governance policies and procedures.

• Investigate & Resolve: Assist with compliance-related incident management and investigations, in coordination with HR and management.

• Liaise & Connect: Liaise effectively with internal stakeholders and external advisors (e.g., auditors, legal counsel) as required.

Who We're Looking For:

• Education: Graduate of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Legal Management, Risk Management, Compliance, Law, or any related field.

• Experience: 2–3 years of solid experience in legal support, compliance, risk, governance, or management systems.

• Legal Acumen: A practical understanding of contract law principles and standard contract clauses.

• Sharp Analytical Mind: Exceptional analytical, risk-spotting, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.

• Master Communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex legal jargon into clear, actionable business advice.

• Uncompromising Integrity: A high level of integrity, professional discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential corporate matters.

• Core Expertise: Strong knowledge of compliance, risk, governance, ISO management systems, audit support, documentation, and corrective action management skills.

• Work Setup: Willing to work on-site in Cubao, Quezon City.
