Job summary

The Private Advertiser seeks a Compliance, Auditing and Risk Management professional to serve as the primary liaison with government agencies in the Philippines. You will manage permits, licenses, audits, and regulatory reporting while ensuring adherence to the Data Privacy Act and local laws.

Willingness to relocate and travel is required. Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years in hospitality compliance or related fields, with strong English and Tagalog

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Hospitality Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management, preferably in hospitality.
  • Extensive exposure in processing government permits local and national.
  • Deep knowledge of Philippine laws and regulations.
  • Strong conflict-resolution abilities with excellent English and Tagalog.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and documentation.
  • Willingness to relocate and travel for extended periods.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison between the corporation and government agencies to advocate for business interests.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with permits, licenses, and regulations for local and national government.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on newly introduced bills, orders, and ordinances affecting operations.
  • Oversee end-to-end strategy for securing government approvals and licenses at national and local levels.
  • Draft, update, and implement internal policies and SOPs to ensure legal compliance.
  • Conduct regular internal audits, spot checks, and risk assessments for compliance.
  • Ensure compliance to the Data Privacy Act and NPC privacy standards.
  • Maintain documentary records of permits, notices, inspections, and legal documents.
  • Report the compliance status to Senior Management.
  • Relocation and extensive official business travel as required.

Job description

JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • He/she shall act as the primary point of contact between the corporation and government agencies e.g. SEC, DOT, DENR, Marina Industry Authority, NPC, NTC, LGUs and other agencies to advocate for the company's business interests.

  • He/she shall ensure regulatory compliance with business permits, licenses, and regulations for both local and national government (new & renewal applications).

  • He/she shall monitor, analyze, and report on newly introduced bills, executive orders, and local ordinances that could affect business operations.

  • He/she shall oversee the end-to-end strategy for securing complex government approvals and operational licenses across national and local levels.

  • He/she shall draft, update, and implement internal hotel policies and SOPs to ensure legal compliance.

  • He/she shall conduct regular internal audits, spot checks, and risk assessments across departments to ensure compliance and operational integrity.

  • He/she will ensure compliance to the Data Privacy Act and strict implementation of NPC's privacy standard regulations.

  • He/she shall maintain documentary records of permits, licenses, notices, inspections, incidents, and legal documents.

  • He/she shall report the compliance status to the Senior Management.

  • He/she must be willing and open to relocation and extensive official business travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Hospitality Management, or related field.

  • At least 3 years of experience in compliance, auditing, or risk management, preferably in the hospitality industry

  • With extensive exposure in processing government permits both local and national.

  • Possess a deep knowledge of Philippine laws and regulations.

  • Possess a Strong conflict-resolution abilities, and excellent command of English and Tagalog for regular coordination with government inspectors and foreign guests.

  • Excellent communication and inter-personal skills, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and proficiency in documentation.
