Job summary

Chinabank PH is seeking a Compliance Officer under the supervision of the HO Compliance Testing Department (HOCTD) Head to perform periodic board-approved validation and monitoring exercises. You will uphold CBC compliance system standards, ensure regulatory expectations are met, and foster a proactive compliance culture within and outside the department.

The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to liaise effectively with bank units and regulators.

Qualifications

• Analytical and detail-oriented.

• 2 years banking operations or compliance/audit experience.

Job description

The Compliance Officer will be under the supervision of and serving as a Secretariat for the HO Compliance Testing Department (HOCTD) Head. To perform duties involved in periodically carrying out and reporting of the Board-approved ad-hoc validation and monitoring exercises, effectively upholding the standards and procedures on the coordination of the implementation of the CBC compliance system and other relevant regulatory expectations, and maintaining an objective and constructive working relationship within and outside the Department to unceasingly implement and develop measures that would promote a proactive compliance culture.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of any management or business-related course.
• Has at least 2 years of banking operations or experience in the field of compliance, audit, methods/policies or internal control.
• Analytical and detail-oriented
• Must be a team-player - able to work and liaise effectively with other units of the bank and with the regulators.
