Job summary

Vena Group is seeking a seasoned Community Relations Specialist in the Philippines to build and sustain productive partnerships with local communities, IP groups, and government agencies. The role focuses on CSR programs, stakeholder engagement, and compliant project communications.

You will plan and execute social development initiatives, prepare reporting, secure permits, address grievances, and support smooth project implementation in renewable energy contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement as specified in the job posting.
• Minimum five years of work experience in community relations development.
• Understanding of Renewable Energy Act 2008 and environmental policies as they relate to community relations.
• Proven track record in building community relations and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain good relations with host communities, IP groups, and government agencies to ensure smooth project activities.
• Plan and implement community relations strategies that support project goals.
• Execute CSR programs and social development plans for host communities.
• Prepare IEC materials and coordinate meetings, including documenting questions and concerns.
• Liaise with government agencies to secure permits and clearances; maintain grievance logs.
