Job summary

Vena Group is seeking a Community Relations professional to build and sustain strong ties with host communities, government agencies, and other stakeholders at project sites in the Philippines. You will implement CSR/IEC activities, manage communications, and coordinate with LGUs to secure permits and address concerns.

The role requires proven experience in community relations, excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills, and a track record of successful stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience liaising with local government offices, host barangays/communities.
• Experience in implementing IEC activities, CSR/ComRel programs, etc.
• Proven track record in community relations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills; good negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Preferably with RE experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain good relations with host communities and stakeholders.
• Plan, implement, and analyze community relations strategies that support project goals.
• Implement the social development plan, CSR programs, IP MOAs and related plans.
• Plan and implement publication/presentation materials for the project.
• Coordinate IEC activities and consultations; prepare materials and document questions/concerns.
• Document stakeholder engagement activities and submit weekly ComRel reports.
• Liaise with host community, government agencies & LGUs for permits/clearances.
• Receive project-related complaints and maintain grievance logs.
• Keep the project team informed on governmental, community, legislative, and environmental issues.
• Provide general admin support; maintain filing; handle correspondence and meetings.
• Coordinate with O&M contractors on consumables; manage office equipment maintenance.
• Maintain confidentiality and quality records of suppliers/contractors.
