Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Commissions Analyst to join our Finance Team, focusing on accurate and timely commission payments and governance compliance.

You’ll partner with Finance, HR, and Sales to ensure compensation aligns with performance and policy, helping sales teams understand their plans and payments. You will analyze sales and commission data, audit results to strengthen controls, and translate findings into actionable insights that drive better decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related analytical field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in finance, commissions, or sales operations.
• Strong Excel skills with data analysis and reporting capabilities.

In this role, you’ll help ensure our sales compensation programs are accurate, compliant, and aligned with business performance, strengthening employee confidence and supporting sustainable growth. By combining financial analysis, commission administration, and cross-functional collaboration, you’ll provide insights that improve compensation decisions, reinforce financial controls, and enable sales teams to perform at their best. You’ll work closely with Finance, Human Resources, Sales, and other business partners while building valuable expertise in commission planning and analysis that supports Global Payments’ mission and future success.

What you’ll own

• Deliver accurate and timely commission payments that reinforce employee confidence, support sales performance, and meet established compensation governance standards.
• Strengthen financial controls and accountability by auditing commission results, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues before they affect employees or the business.
• Turn sales and commission data into actionable insights that help leaders evaluate performance, understand trends, and make informed business decisions.
• Create a responsive support experience by helping sales employees understand their compensation plans and commission payments, improving clarity and trust across the organization.
• Improve commission processes and reporting by identifying opportunities to increase accuracy, efficiency, and scalability as business needs evolve.

What you’ll bring

• A bachelor’s degree and one to two years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, commissions, sales operations, or a related analytical field.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to analyze data, investigate discrepancies, and communicate meaningful findings.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a demonstrated commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize competing requirements and consistently meet deadlines.
• A collaborative and adaptable mindset, with the communication skills to build effective relationships across Finance, Human Resources, Sales, and other teams.

It’s a bonus if you have

• Experience administering sales compensation plans or processing commission payments.
• Familiarity with Xactly or another incentive compensation management platform.
• Experience delivering sales reporting, financial analysis, or insights in a changing and deadline-driven environment.
