Job summary

Globe Telecom is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to provide technical oversight, operational support, and QA across six commissioning levels to ensure mission-critical facility infrastructure meets internal standards, contract specifications, and operational requirements.

The role requires collaboration with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants, enforcing Safety Management Systems and maintaining trackers, issue logs, and risk registers for a seamless transition to the Lead

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight across six commissioning levels (L1-L6) to ensure facility infrastructure meets internal standards and contract specifications.
• Perform Factory Witness Testing (CXL1A) and Delivery & Positioning Onsite (CXL1B) activities with accuracy.
• Lead Installation QA/QC & Pre-Start Up (Dead) Testing (CXL2) to validate readiness.
• Coordinate Witnessing Start-Up, Energisation and Performance Testing (CXL3) and verify results.
• Validate functional testing against approved sequence of operation (SOO) (CXL4) and ensure alignment.
• Oversee closeout, punch list resolution, and handover (CXL6) while enforcing safety systems and reporting progress.

• Validating functional testing align with approved SOO (sequence of operation) (CXL4),
• Supporting HLT and Integrated Systems Testing(CXL5),
• Overseeing closeout, punch list resolution, and handover (CXL6)

Working in close collaboration with internal teams, contractors, vendors, and consultants, the Commissioning Engineer ensures mission-critical facility infrastructure strictly aligns with internal standards, contract specifications, and operational requirements. In addition to technical execution, the role enforces rigorous adherence to site Safety Management Systems (PTW, LOTO, JHA,RA and MOP) and maintains commissioning trackers, issue logs, and risk registers to report progress directly to the Lead Commissioning Manager for a seamless operational transition.
