About the Role
The Commercial Planning & Analytics Officer will provide commercial intelligence, business analytics, market research, forecasting, and performance reporting to support the Commercial Services Office.
Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), this role transforms business and operational data into actionable insights that support strategic planning, revenue growth, business development, market expansion, referral growth, and overall commercial performance.
The position will serve as a key analytical partner to commercial leadership, ensuring that business decisions are supported by accurate data, sound analysis, and objective performance evaluation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain commercial dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports covering revenue, census, referrals, sales, and growth indicators.
- Conduct data analysis, variance analysis, forecasting, and scenario modeling to support management decision-making.
- Assist in annual planning, budgeting, target-setting, and business planning activities.
- Prepare business cases, feasibility studies, and analytical reports for new business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Conduct market, industry, competitor, customer, and healthcare market research to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Provide analytics and insights for institutional sales, account profitability, pricing, utilization, contracts, and partnership opportunities.
- Monitor referral trends, physician engagement, referral conversion, and network performance to identify opportunities for growth.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for commercial performance reviews and strategic discussions.
- Provide data-driven recommendations and analytical support for commercial strategy and growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and continuously improve reporting processes and analytical capabilities.
About You
We are looking for a highly analytical and business-oriented professional who can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
You should have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business Administration, Management Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate planning, business analytics, commercial analytics, financial analysis, market research, management reporting, or related functions.
- Strong knowledge of business analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, market research, and strategic planning.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization and analytics tools.
- Strong skills in data interpretation, business case development, and presentation.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, communication, and attention to detail.
- Strong business acumen, collaboration skills, and learning agility.
Preferred but not required:
Experience in healthcare, corporate planning, FP&A, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, Strategic Planning, or Management Consulting.
