Job summary

A7 Recruitment is seeking a Business and Intelligence Corporate Planning Head to drive long-range financial planning, budgeting, and strategy across the organization. You will oversee FP&A, BI, data & insights, and strategic planning teams to deliver actionable executive insights.

The role requires 10+ years in corporate planning or related fields, senior management experience, and a track record supporting CEOs or boards. Strong Excel and BI skills are essential in a multi-branch enterprise.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Admin, Industrial Eng, Statistics, Data Science, Management or related field.
• MBA/CPA/CFA/CMA or relevant strategy analytics cert is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate strategy, annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning.
• Develop 5- to 10-year growth, expansion, and capex roadmap.
• Oversee FP&A, BI, data & insights, and strategic planning teams.
• Build executive dashboards, scorecards, models, and management reports.
• Analyze profitability, cash flow, working capital, branch performance, and investments.
• Evaluate business cases for expansion, tech, products, partnerships, and capex.
• Prepare materials for Exec Committee, Board, and investors.
• Support PE, capital raising, valuation, and potential IPO readiness.
• Translate complex data into clear recommendations for executives.

Business and Intelligence Corporate Planning Head

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Management, or a related field.
• MBA, postgraduate degree, CPA, CFA, CMA, or relevant strategy and analytics certification is an advantage.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in corporate planning, FP&A, business intelligence, strategy, investment analysis, or management consulting.
• At least five years in a senior management or department-head role.
• Proven experience supporting a CEO, Executive Committee, or Board of Directors.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, business valuation, performance management, and executive reporting.
• Experience leading multiple teams covering financial analysis, data analytics, strategy, and management reporting.
• Exposure to private equity, mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, investor due diligence, or IPO readiness is highly advantageous.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI or equivalent business-intelligence tools.
• Experience in a multi-branch retail, banking, consumer financing, automotive, motorcycle, or large-scale organization is preferred.

• Analyze profitability, cash flow, working capital, branch performance, investments, and strategic initiatives.
• Evaluate business cases for branch expansion, technology, products, partnerships, and capital expenditures.
• Strengthen data governance, KPI definitions, reporting accuracy, and enterprise-wide performance accountability.
• Prepare Executive Committee, Board, investor, and due diligence materials.
• Support private equity, capital raising, strategic investment, valuation, and potential public-listing readiness.
• Translate complex financial and operational data into clear recommendations and executive actions.
