The Qualifications We Seek
Required Skills and Experience
- 1 to 3 years of experience in account management, customer success, sales support, sales development, renewals, revenue operations, or customer-facing commercial support
- Confidence in speaking directly with customers by phone or video
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple customer requests and follow-ups simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Sound commercial judgment to identify customer requests that may create sales opportunities
- Ability to collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Finance, and Operations
- Experience supporting small sales orders, renewals, customer escalations, or account planning, preferred
- Experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM, preferred
- Experience working with chapter-based organizations, associations, nonprofits, or federated customer structures, preferred
- Willingness to attend customer events if U.S.-based and required

- Ability to support small sales orders, route billing inquiries, assist Senior AEs with larger deals, research accounts, participate in customer calls, and provide clear follow-up

- Consistent routing and follow-up of inbound requests from existing customers
- Effective support for Senior AEs on larger sales opportunities
- Appropriate identification, progression, and escalation of chapter-level opportunities

- Valuable sales input for customer Executive Business Reviews (EBRs)
- Strong account research and planning support for deal preparation
- Professional, timely, and clear customer-facing communication
- Documented event follow-up and next steps, where applicable
Your Daily Tasks
Support Small Sales Orders
- Manage smaller sales orders from existing customers
- Help customers understand next steps, required information, and process expectations
- Coordinate with Sales, Customer Success, Finance, Legal, and Operations to move small orders through the process
- Document customer requests clearly and route them appropriately
- Escalate larger or more complex opportunities to the appropriate Senior AE
Direct Inbound Existing Customer Requests
- Triage inbound requests from existing customers
- Route non-revenue-generating customer needs, including billing questions, renewal support, support escalations, and general account inquiries
- Partner with Customer Success and Support to connect customers with the appropriate owner
- Maintain clear follow-up and prevent requests from falling between teams
- Identify inbound customer requests that may create revenue opportunities and escalate them appropriately
Support Larger Sales Deals
- Partner with AEs on larger opportunities involving assigned chapter organizations
- Support account research, customer context collection, meeting preparation, follow-up notes, and deal coordination
- Maintain deal hygiene, next steps, and customer-facing follow-through
- Participate in sales conversations as needed to support AEs and improve customer responsiveness
Participate in Chapter-Level Sales Conversations
- Participate in customer conversations with individual chapters
- Develop toward independently leading smaller chapter-level sales conversations
- Help chapters understand relevant solutions, next steps, and available support
- Identify potential expansion or cross-sell opportunities and route them to the appropriate commercial owner
Support Account Research and Planning
- Conduct account research to support Senior AEs, CSMs, and commercial leaders
- Prepare account summaries, customer background information, product usage context, stakeholder notes, and opportunity inputs
- Support account planning for assigned chapter organizations
- Partner with CSMs to provide sales input for customer EBRs
Support Events Where Appropriate
- Attend select events tied to assigned chapter organizations if U.S.-based and required
- Support customer conversations, relationship development, event follow-up, and opportunity identification
- Partner with Sales and Customer Success to translate event activity into clear next steps
