The successful candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree, prefer a Master’s, be a Registered Civil Engineer, and bring 1–3 years of industry experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering discipline; Master's degree preferred
• Registered Civil Engineer
• Minimum 1–3 years of professional engineering experience in industry or practice

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and practical laboratory sessions in accordance with curriculum standards and learning objectives of the College of Engineering
• Design, prepare and deliver course materials, including lecture notes, assignments, practical exercises and assessments that meet accreditation requirements
• Assess student learning through examinations, quizzes, projects and practical work, providing constructive feedback to support student development
• Conduct practical and laboratory demonstrations, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with engineering principles and equipment
• Supervise student projects, capstone works and research initiatives within your area of expertise
• Support student mentoring and academic guidance to help learners succeed in their studies
• Stay current with developments in engineering practice and education, incorporating contemporary industry knowledge into teaching

About the role

TRACE College is seeking a dedicated and experienced College of Engineering Instructor to join our academic team. This is a full-time position based in Los Baños, Laguna, where you will play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of engineering professionals. As an Engineering Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality tertiary-level education, fostering critical thinking, and preparing students for successful careers in the engineering industry.
