Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Collections and Acquired Assets Management Division Head oversees the effective and efficient administration of Collections and Acquired Assets Management functions and the day-to-day operations of the division.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

Collection Department Function

• Reviews and oversees Weekly Delinquency Report and reports the same every week to the NPACC

• Oversees the negotiation with clients with delinquent accounts for the early settlement of their accounts

• Oversees the preparation of legal demand letters

• Oversees the computation and ensures collection of penalty charges on delinquent accounts

• Reviews the endorsed delinquent accounts to Legal Department

• Oversees the support services to the legal department for court actions filed against clients with delinquent accounts

• Reviews the memo for CRECOM approval regarding clients under litigation that are willing to enter into a compromise agreement

Acquired Assets Management Department Function

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the division and approves all correspondences, memoranda, requests and other documents that are released or issued by the departments

• Reviews and approves the timely sale or disposal of assets under such terms and conditions as may be approved by the management

• Initiates in ensuring that assets are either made productive or liquidated

• Manages the updated network of potential buyers of second-hand motor vehicles, trucks, equipment and real property/ies

• Monitor compliance of the unit with applicable laws and regulations as well as AMLA requirements

• Oversees the updates on laws and regulations affecting his/her area of operations to compliance central for updates, circulars, and resolutions issued by supervising authority

• Ensures compliance with AML and BSP laws

Performance Management

• Sets the performance expectations for the heads of the departments

• Conducts regular performance evaluations for each of the department head

• Formulates and implements ways to improve work productivity of employees in the division

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field

• At least 10 years experience in collections or leasing operations

• At least with experience in Remedial Management
