Job summary
Universidad de Granada's Mind, Brain and Behavior Research Center (CIMCYC) seeks a highly motivated PhD student to contribute to research on the neural basis of human cognition. The selected candidate will gain training in cognitive neuroscience, experimental design, and neuroimaging data acquisition (fMRI/EEG) with opportunities for international lab stays.
The program includes coursework, supervision by Maria Ruz, and enrollment in the PhD program in Psychology of the University of Granada.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, Cognitive Science, Signal Engineering, Physics, Biology or related fields (180 or 240 ECTS).
- Master degree in an area relevant for the topics of the project.
Responsibilities
- Receive theoretical and practical training in Cognitive Neuroscience.
- Design experiments and programming (e.g. MATLAB, Python, JAVA).
- Acquire behavioral and neuroimaging data (fMRI and EEG) from humans.
- Conduct univariate and multivariate analyses.
- Disseminate findings through academic papers and conferences.
