Job summary

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and take beverage and food orders in a friendly, professional manner.
• Provide recommendations for drinks, food, and specials.
• Deliver food and drinks quickly and accurately.
• Ensure correct orders and fulfill special requests.
• Monitor guests’ needs and check in on satisfaction.
• Upsell drinks, food items, and promotions to increase sales.
• Maintain knowledge of menu and seasonal offerings.
• Accurately process payments (cash and card).
• Keep service area clean; clear tables and debris.
• Collaborate with bartenders and kitchen staff for seamless service.
• Assist during busy times and restock supplies.
• Verify guests are of legal drinking age and follow responsible service guidelines.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Address guest complaints promptly; escalate when necessary.

• Maintain knowledge of the casino’s menu, specials, and seasonal offerings to inform guests.
  
• Accurately process payments, including cash and credit transactions, following casino procedures.
  
• Maintain cleanliness of the service area, including clearing empty glasses, plates, and debris from tables and surrounding areas.
  
• Ensure that all service items, including trays, glassware, and utensils, are clean and ready for use.
  
• Collaborate with bartenders, kitchen staff, and other team members to ensure seamless service experience.
  
• Assist other servers or staff members during busy times to ensure timely service.
  
• Verify that all guests are of legal drinking age and follow responsible alcohol service guidelines.
  
• Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with casino policies and state regulations.
  
• Assist in restocking supplies, including napkins, straws, and garnishes, to ensure the bar and service areas are always prepared.
  
• Keep an eye on inventory and communicate with the team to ensure supplies are sufficient.
  
• Address and resolve any guest complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
  
• Escalate issues to management as necessary, ensuring guest satisfaction is prioritized.
  

Requirements

• Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate or Bachelor’s/College Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.

Previous experience in food and beverage, hospitality, or customer service is preferred.Experience working in a casino or bar environment is a plus.
