Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking a senior coastal design engineering lead in the Philippines to guide a team of design engineers, BIM modellers, and CAD specialists on large-scale infrastructure and reclamation projects.

You will ensure design management, QA/QC compliance, and timely project delivery, liaising with clients, contractors, and authorities while coordinating with QA/QC, construction management and project control teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or master’s degree in civil engineering from a recognised university.
• At least 10 years of civil engineering experience in large-scale infrastructure/reclamation projects.
• Ability to manage and coordinate all design activities.
• Proficiency in English with strong written and verbal communication.
• Experience in contract administration is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of design engineers, BIM modellers, and CAD specialists.
• Ensure implementation of design management and QA/QC systems and standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC, construction management, and project control teams on design matters.
• Prepare and present technical design reviews to Client, Contractor, and authorities.
• Review and approve design submissions, reports, and tender specifications.
