Job summary

Micro-Mechanics Technology International, Inc. in Laguna is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our production team. The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in manufacturing and is proficient with CNC operation and programming, including G-code, turning, and EDM processes.

Experience with metals, plastics and composites is preferred. You will set up machines, write and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM tools (Mastercam), read engineering drawings, perform self-inspections and maintain equipment.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CNC operation and programming including G-code.
• Experience with turning and WC/EDM machines.
• Familiar with metals, plastics, composites.
• Awareness of latest machining tech.
• Strong technical skills with manual and CNC machines.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines for drilling, cutting, milling and shaping per specs.
• Prepare materials, tools and fixtures for machining.
• Write/modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM tools (Mastercam).
• Read/interpret engineering drawings to determine processes.
• Perform self-inspections to ensure quality.
• Record and monitor production; maintain equipment.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshoot CNC machines.
• Adhere to safety protocols and keep work area clean.
