Job summary

OOCL (Philippines) Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer to join an Agile team delivering cloud-based applications. You will design, develop, and enhance scalable software systems using Java 17+ and Spring Boot, with focus on backend APIs and data services.

You will work with MySQL and other relational databases, participate in Agile ceremonies, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions. Hands-on testing and continuous improvement are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional software development experience.
• Solid programming experience with Java, preferably Java 17+.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Working knowledge of MySQL or other relational databases.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum development environments.

Responsibilities
