Job summary

AMCS Group invites a Software Architect to shape the technical direction of our cloud-based SaaS platform from Cebu in a flexible hybrid role. You will collaborate with global teams to design scalable, high-impact solutions and guide key architectural decisions.

You will leverage Microsoft technologies, cloud platforms and modern development practices to deliver reliable, secure products that delight customers while advancing sustainability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years development experience.
• 3+ years in software, technical, or solution architecture roles.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and design patterns.
• Exposure to designing and building reliable distributed enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Define Product Roadmap and technical enablers with Product and Engineering Management.
• Implement a secure, cost-efficient, reliable, scalable cloud-based platform.
• Define and maintain software architecture standards and best practices.
• Lead design and implementation of scalable, secure software solutions.
• Communicate NFRs and designs clearly and effectively.
• Identify and reduce strategic technical debt.
• Collaborate with development teams for architectural alignment.
• Evaluate tools, technologies, and processes for quality; provide direction and mentoring.
• Contribute to core platform packages and templates.
• Keep up with latest tech advances to improve the platform offering.
• Partner with Architecture, DevOps and Platform teams to automate deployments and governance.
