Job summary

Workstreet is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer to help clients design, implement, and maintain security controls across AWS, GCP, and Azure. You will strengthen cloud security posture, automate security operations, and support audit readiness in a remote-friendly team.

You will collaborate with US-based clients and internal teams, owning security lifecycle from design to remediation while applying best practices in IAM, encryption, and risk management. This role embraces a remote-first culture.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-cloud security engineer with hands-on cloud security experience across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Master IAM strategies, cloud network zoning, data encryption, and risk mitigation workflows.
• Strong automation skills using IaC tools to build guardrails and secure baselines.
• Knowledge of SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA, and other GRC controls is required.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication for global stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain cloud security controls across AWS, GCP, and Azure to ensure regulatory alignment.
• Perform architectural risk assessments and design targeted remediation blueprints.
• Configure and manage SIEM, log analytics, IAM layers, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability tools.
• Own client relationship lifecycle, manage milestones, and handle escalations calmly.
• Develop IaC deployment playbooks and scripts to enforce security controls.
• Embed security guardrails into CI/CD pipelines to catch issues early.
• Investigate cloud security incidents and coordinate rapid remediation loops.
• Support audit readiness by gathering and validating multi-cloud configuration evidence.
