Job summary

Workstreet in the Philippines is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer with OCI experience to design, implement, and maintain security controls that align with SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA, and other standards.

You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to strengthen cloud security posture across AWS, GCP, and Azure, automate operations, and support incident response while communicating clearly with US-based clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience securing AWS, GCP, or Azure environments.
• Must have hands-on OCI compute, networking, storage, and IAM.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and compliance.
• Proficient in security automation using Terraform, Python, or Bash.
• Familiar with SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR or HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Implement security controls across AWS, GCP, and Azure to meet compliance standards.
• Assess client environments for risks and misconfigurations with remediation recommendations.
• Deploy and manage SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and identity solutions.
• Automate security operations with infrastructure-as-code scripts.
• Conduct cloud security reviews and architecture assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Assist in incident response to minimize exposure and restore integrity.
• Communicate findings and guidance to clients clearly.
