Job summary

KMC Solutions is seeking a Cloud Operations Analyst (AWS) to join the team in Manila. The role focuses on reliable releases, incident handling, on-call support, and collaboration with developers to resolve issues across multiple stacks.

The ideal candidate has extensive Linux knowledge, scripting skills, and experience with incident management, monitoring, and deployment in distributed environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of total experience with a bachelor’s degree is required.
• Willingness to work Tue-Sat 1:00 AM–10:00 AM Manila time.
• Strong knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu, RHEL, OEL7).
• Experience in application support in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge/Experience of Incident Management.
• Network basics and troubleshooting skills.
• Load balancers/Traffic manager knowledge.
• Virtualization and containerization knowledge.
• Production deployment in a distributed environment.
• GIT, Jira and Jenkins familiarity.

Responsibilities

• As part of Cloud Operations team, ensure releases are done as per plan and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues and escalations at infrastructure and application levels.
• Lead, drive, facilitate, and manage Incident bridge.
• Provide scheduled on-call services for emergency changes.
• Participate in site incident troubleshooting and triage efforts.
• Collaborate with developers to fix issues and drive to resolution.
• Improve processes and automate with new tools and scripts.
• Handle multiple projects, provide status updates and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Define and improve release/deployment processes and drive team discussions.
• Manage releases across multiple stacks in a distributed environment with Illumio compliance.
• Work across time zones with internal and external partners to ensure timely delivery.
