Job summary

GKP Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, provisioning, and implementation of cloud infrastructure supporting critical Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platforms.

This role will deliver scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments for Endur and SQMD applications, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern cloud architecture best practices.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Architect to lead the design, provisioning, and implementation of cloud infrastructure supporting critical Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platforms. This role will be responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments for Endur and SQMD applications, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and modern cloud architecture best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and provision cloud infrastructure for multiple enterprise environments using Terraform Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deploy and manage approximately 94 virtual machines across seven Endur environments.
• Design and implement cloud networking, security groups, access controls, and connectivity solutions.
• Configure and support Oracle Data Guard replication to ensure high availability and disaster recovery readiness.
• Build and provision target infrastructure supporting the SQMD platform.
• Collaborate with application, database, networking, and security teams to ensure infrastructure alignment with business and technical requirements.
• Establish infrastructure standards, automation practices, and governance controls.
• Support infrastructure readiness activities through project lifecycle phases, concluding prior to production cutover.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Cloud Infrastructure Architect, Cloud Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code methodologies.
• Deep understanding of cloud infrastructure architecture, networking, and security design.
• Experience provisioning and managing large-scale virtualized environments.
• Knowledge of high availability and disaster recovery solutions, including Oracle Data Guard.
• Experience working in complex enterprise application environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting Endur/Openlink or other Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) platforms.
• Experience with enterprise cloud migrations and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Knowledge of database infrastructure, automation, and DevOps practices.
