Job summary

GKP Solutions, Inc. seeks an experienced Cloud Application Architect to lead design, modernization, deployment, and integration of critical enterprise energy trading and risk management applications.

This role supports Endur and SQMD platforms, driving cloud-native transformation and scalable integration across teams. The successful candidate will steer containerization with ECS, implement secure authentication frameworks, and design event-driven messaging using SQS/SNS.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Architect and manage Endur scripted and packaged installations, ensuring reliable deployment and operational excellence.
• Design, develop, and deploy .NET and JVS extensions within the Endur ecosystem.
• Lead the modernization of SQMD .NET applications, transforming legacy solutions into scalable, maintainable cloud-based architectures.
• Drive ECS containerization initiatives, enabling improved scalability, resilience, and deployment automation.
• Implement and enhance MEA authentication frameworks to ensure secure access management and compliance with enterprise security standards.
• Design and execute messaging architecture refactoring using Amazon SQS and SNS, improving system integration, performance, and event-driven communication.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, and business stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and architectural standards.
• Ensure application architectures align with cloud best practices, security requirements, and operational objectives.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Application Architect (.NET) to lead the design, modernization, deployment, and integration of critical enterprise energy trading and risk management applications. This role will support both Endur and SQMD platforms, driving cloud-native transformation initiatives, application modernization, and scalable integration solutions. This is a 53 week contract engagement. Working hours are PST time zone.

Responsibilities
