Job summary

Infor is seeking a Technical Consultant to enhance and support application programs across basic to moderately complex levels. You will work on Infor ION and related technologies, ensuring deliverables meet design standards and customer requirements.

The role involves building monitoring and automation solutions, creating documentation, and coordinating with global teams. A Bachelor's degree in IT or CS is required, with ERP experience and SQL proficiency highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience working in ERP environments such as Infor, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience with MS SQL Database and SQL queries from scratch.
• Experience with Sumologic or similar IT monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow and other ITSM tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to work US or EMEA shift.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains monitoring systems and automation workflows.
• Enhances existing functionalities based on customer monitoring requirements.
• Writes and refines Regex queries for log parsing and data extraction.
• Configures proactive alerts and automated monitoring rules.
• Performs troubleshooting in customer environments and resolves issues.
• Prepares technical documentation such as SOPs, templates, and flowcharts.
• Leads demos and walkthroughs of monitoring capabilities to stakeholders.

A Typical Day In The Life Includes

• Develops and maintains monitoring systems.
• Enhancing existing functionalities based on customer monitoring requirements.
• Creating and modifying Regex queries for log parsing, filtering, and data extraction.
• Building and improving workflow and process automation to streamline monitoring operations.
• Ensuring deliverables meet design specifications, usability standards, and quality expectations.
• Configuring and managing proactive alerts and automated monitoring rules.
• Performing troubleshooting within customer environments and resolving monitoring-related issues.
• Preparing technical documentation such as SOPs, templates, flowcharts, and solution designs.
• Conducting peer reviews, impact assessments, and root cause analysis.
• Coordinating with global teams to provide regular technical updates and maintain alignment.
• Leading demos and walkthroughs to showcase monitoring and automation capabilities to stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience working in ERP environments such as Infor, SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience working with MS SQL Database and able to write SQL queries from scratch.
• Experience working with Sumologic or similar

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Amenable to work on a US or EMEA shift

Preferred Qualifications

• Certifications in ITIL, DevOps, or AWS (preferred but not required).
