About The Role
We are looking for a Cloud Architect to design and implement a secure, scalable, and well‑governed cloud foundation (landing zone) that enables efficient enterprise cloud adoption. This role requires a strong background in cloud solution design, landing zone implementation, and integration with security, governance, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and implement the target cloud architecture and landing zone aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Design and operationalize landing zone components such as management groups, subscriptions/accounts, identity and access management (IAM), shared services, and governance policies.
- Build and integrate peripheral services including monitoring and logging, disaster recovery, certificate/key management, and cost tracking.
- Use Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for automated and repeatable deployment of landing zone infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cloud platform, application, and security teams to ensure governance, compliance, and smooth integration of workloads.
- Establish operational processes for monitoring, alerting, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to cloud migration strategy and ensure workloads fit within the landing zone architecture.
- Optimize solutions for cost, performance, security, and high availability.
Must‑Have Skills
- 5–7 years of experience in cloud architecture, solution design, or infrastructure implementation.
- Strong expertise in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure platforms.
- Hands‑on experience with landing zone design, IAM, network topology, security, and governance.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of cloud security, compliance, and disaster recovery best practices.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with technical and business stakeholders.
Good‑to‑Have Skills
- Experience with orchestration and automation tools.
- Knowledge of virtualization, networking, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
- Familiarity with cost management tools and optimization practices.
- Strategic thinking and problem‑solving ability.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Azure Solutions Architect Expert.
