Job summary

Home Credit Philippines is seeking an IT Cloud Architect to set the strategic and tactical direction for cloud and hybrid solutions. The candidate should design scalable, secure cloud solutions on AWS or Azure, translate business requirements into architectures, and mentor a team of architects.

The role includes creating architecture artifacts, enforcing standards, and driving blueprints for cloud migrations and new capabilities, with a focus on security, reliability, and performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of experience in Cloud Architecture.
• Experience administrating cloud tenant in Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services with monthly spending more than 20 000$.
• Experience running production workloads using containerization and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with GitOps.
• Microsoft/AWS cloud certifications.
• Strong knowledge of IT security & networking.
• Knowledge of DevSecOps.

Responsibilities

• Architecting and designing solutions that meet the functional and non-functional requirements.
• Create and review architecture and solution design artifacts.
• Provide technical direction and lead a group of architects addressing a common goal.
• Enforce adherence to architectural standards and guidelines.
• Ability to analyze and operate at various levels of abstraction.
• Ensure suitable sizing, technology fit, and disaster recovery considerations.
• Keep abreast of emerging tech trends in cloud and define new patterns and standards.
• Drive, plan and develop blueprints and deliverables for cloud capabilities and migrations.
• Collaborate with team members to design end-to-end processes aligning with the defined architecture.
